He was active with the Smithfield Little Theater (SLT) and was well known for his comedic talents. Camp is one of 23 colleges in the Virginia Community College System. He loved to go to Virginia International Raceway (VIR) and race cars. Smithfield Little Theatre, one of the regions best community theaters, moved into a million dollar facility in 2001 and hosts professional-quality shows. He spent several years as a Docent at the Virginia Air & Space Center. In 1998, his job in furniture moved him to coastal Virginia. After attending Catawba College, he worked in the furniture business for many years in both sales and store management. The Smithfield Little Theatre was organized from a group of people who had worked childrens theater with the Smithfield Recreation Association. Brian grew up in the High Point/Archdale area where he was active in music and theater. He died on Wednesday, at Riverside Regional Medical Center.
